Great place in authentic German style, we felt like we were at the Wiesen in Munich! The beer is exceptional (I haven't had a Weihenstephan in years! and the food is what you would expect from a genuine Biergarten. The location is also very nice, with covered and uncovered seating, which allows to visit in any weather condition. View all feedback.
What Lawrence Frantz doesn't like about Deutscher Club Of Clark, Nj Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
I 'm new to the area of German descent and some friends had recommended the place so I stopped in not realizing you had to be a member. The elderly woman at the bar made that very clear to me that I was not welcome there I explained to her that I am was German I was new to the area she said you can 't come here you 're not a member. Not an ounce of professionalism she could have said, welcome, sorry members only, if... View all feedback.
Great German family experience. Food and beverages are delicious!
It’s a nice place with authentic German atmosphere. People are very welcome. I’ve been fortunate to be invited by their member.
We ordered catering from there 2 weeks ago, and went to pick it up. They claimed they never received our order even though we gave them our credit card number and they gave us a pick up time. It was for our grandmother's 90th birthday and now we have no food for 40 people. Terrible, will never use again!
Not a bad place but the food is lackluster. Great outdoor venue.
Recently attended German Day an event open to the public. The outdoor grill made German favorites like Bratwurst platter, Grilled Chicken plate, red cabbage along with potato and cucumber salads. Also a nice selection of beer, wine and spirits all are reasonably priced. The events are held under a huge wooden Canopy with long bench and table seating Reminiscent of Oktoberfest. There is additional seating near the grill area underneath old growth oak trees. Entertainment usually consists of a live band playing traditional German music Along with American tunes. There is a wooden dance floor located in front of the musicians. The club proudly plays both American and German National Anthems as the festivities commence. There is a small play area for children and in years passed an ice cream parade was provided. There is plenty of parking on site along with overflow lots a few blocks away which the club generously provides a shuttle service. As the day rounds out Coffee and Cake is available with favorites like Black Forest Cake among others. Friendly club members and employees, Spotless restrooms, great food, drinks and Friends makes for a wonderful time.
