Dark, dim interior. Deceiving exterior. Record player and LPs/albums. Yes, a turntable and albums. They have two cases of albums Good, fast, food service. I stopped in to order a carry-out for myself and my sister. I ordered the General Tso hotdog and my sister ordered their Detroiter (chili dog). I was intrigued by their server, Casey, who was running the front house. Casey is a young lady with an old soul. She was familiar with things from my childhood and I’m almost 30 years older than she is…I did ask her age. She loves history and she knows Detroit, Corktown, Southwest Detroit history. I will definitely return to dine in for the full effect of this place to experience the atmosphere. My sister and I enjoyed our hotdogs, which are beef, that we chose along with the tater tots which were perfectly simply seasoned. I had the garlic sauce with the General Tso and I don’t know which way was best…I alternated with and without the garlic each bite. Every bite was delicious. The General Tso hotdog is out of this world, so fitting for service at the UFO Factory!
