What User likes about Tubby's Sub Shop:
This Tubby's location always gets it right. Sandwiches and the toppings are always fresh, hot, quick and accurate! Tried the Just Baked Grumpy Cake cupcake, it was very good. I left 3 in the showcase returned about 2 hours later there was not a cupcake left. Usually stop in once weekly will be adding the cupcake with the Best steak sub you can order from a restaurant. Only 4 stars because lobby needs a lil attention! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Tubby's Sub Shop:
Update- removed a star. Found a small hard woody stick on the chicken club, plus no onions were on the sub, good taste though, but was turned off. Previous review no nonsense nostalgic spot. Good service. Good bottom with thick cut meat. Great saucer! Not as many vegetables as the other place, but still delicious. View all feedback.

Why did the cashier tell me that the credit card machine is down and if I want to insist on using my card, they can write the information down and calculate my card later. Lady are you stupid?!? DUMB?!? You should just say it's just that!! Then when I said it's okay, she just hanged on my face, no excuse for the inconvenience or anything! Yea, my favorite tumbler hit rock soil. Not returned

There was a BUG in my salad. The food is clearly not stored properly.

This Tubbys is on Jefferson when going to Belle Isle from the General Motors Headquarters! Tubby's is a Detroit original for 50+ years and one of my Favorite stops!

Friendly employees, fast service, and AMAZING food! The first job I ever had was working at Subway and I couldn?t make a better sub/sandwich than these <3 I tried the streak and cheese, steak and mushroom, and the fried Mac cheese bites.
