What User doesn't like about The Siren Café:
Wow this hotel is not what I expected to be. The rooms are tiny !!!! Bathroom air was so loud and couldn’t be turned off . No suitcase stand or closet to hang clothes . Just hook with few hangers never again View all feedback.
I've been coming to Detroit several times a year for my work over the past decade and for five years I always stay at The Siren. Everything I love about a great boutique hotel: atmosphere, uniqueness, friendly staff, a jewell box of a bar, a barista in the lobby. Perfect location if you're staying downtown. Now they have a new dining concept Ash that takes it over the top. A wonderful casual vibe with 2nd story picture windows lighting up a beautifully designed dining room and bar. The food is fantastic: not fussy, just simple and delicious. I'm married to a restaurateur for 28 years and know how hard it is. Occasionally I find a new restaurant and I want to tell everyone: I know, it's in a hotel, but please, go check it out, you won't be disappointed.
For a true Detroit Michigan Experience, stay at the SIREN! Amazing decor, location, bar, restaraunt, staff, history, .... A one of a kind Experience, not to be missed! The location in the ? of Detroit is perfect for exploring this amazing city!
Loved The Siren Hotel for its proximity to Ford Field, where I was a bit concerned walking to and from by myself at night, the hospitality, and the quality of the room and its contents. My only complaint is that the common areas are very dark.
This hotel is a bit of a cheat. I booked directly with the hotel and booked a parlour room for more which is their best room below a suite. However they gave me a standard chamber room saying the pictures on website are only a guide and it was infact glammed up for a photo shoot that doesn’t ACTUALLY reflect what the rooms look. But you are asking your customer to pay more based on those pictures? False advertisement. I expressed my disappointment on having to pay more and requested a refund for the difference, I was offered nothing. The management could benefit from some customer training. Even offering a drink at their bar or a free coffee could have de escalated the situation. Look at the pictures Decide for yourself which one my room looks like!
Set in the old Wurlitzer manufacturing building, this art deco boutique hotel has a lot of charm. Service from start to finish was excellent. Room was a good size (King) with beautiful bathroom of blue tiles. Near the Opera, Comerica Park, and Ford Field. Monorail station is right next door. Enjoyed dinner in Albena and breakfast in the Ash Bar.
