I really don't understand why all the complaining, but it's a Popeyes location inside an airport! For goodness sake, obviously it's going to be different from a store that's outside in the real world. Having the ability to purchase fried chicken during a layover is actually one of the selling points for me to connect through DTW. Worst experience ever. 25 minutes wait (workers said I was "the next" literally before I gave up and asked for my money back. A process that lasted almost 10 minutes. During this time, people have been waiting for longer than I never got their food. View all feedback.
Terrible, terrible customer service. First of all, they opened very late. They were supposed to open at noon but they didn?t. They were not bothered by the long line of people waiting for them. When they finally opened, the kiosks were not workingproperly. The workers were not helpful. It was evident that they don?t enjoy working there. If more restaurants were opened, wewould have left and gone somewhere else but due to Covid, there wasn?t a lot of choice.

Staff was rude and acted annoyed with any questions I had. Order Kiosks not working Food was pretty average. Ordered spicy.. been awhile since I've had popeyes.. wasn't spicy. Their Blackwned ranch is pretty ?

Also, I really don't know any other Popeyes locations that serves breakfast. During my most recent visit, I was connecting a redeye through DTW. I thought I would just stop by Popeyes to see if they're open. Well, apparently, they have a breakfast menu! Lastly, the workers at the DTW Popeyes are probably a million times nicer than the folks working at my local Popeyes.
Good chicken (spicy is not spicy), tasty onion rings, limited seating, airport prices; cole slaw too creamy, customer service slow at best-a large number of customers. A good selection of soft drinks, free refills, including ice. Across from gate A61.
