Pho Lucky Detroit Midtown

The food is so good and i’m really happy for the owners because is obvious he made a fortune after selling their lot, however, very disappointed to find that they got rid of their window seats…. my friend and i have spent countless dinners here gossiping away so is quite sad that it isn’t there anymore

First off, the service was nice. This was next to the worst pho bowl that I've ever had. I couldn't eat it. Maybe it was because I ordered a veggie bowl, and the focus was/is on the meats. I don't know. I always order the same bowl everywhere, and the flavors are perfect. It was my first time dinning at this location, so I was extremely excited. They do have a full bar, which I have not seen at the other locations. That was a nice twist. I would say, everyone else looked happy so don't let me stop you from trying this restaurant out. Just stay away from the veggie pho bowl. One thing I didn't care for is that it was apparent that I didn't eat the food. I also did not accept a carry out box when offerred. I let the server know that I couldn't eat the food, and it was just brushed right over. The server also know that I had was expecting a different kind of noodle vs the one that I received so he should not have been surprised. The last thing is the restaurant doesn't seem to have any upkeep to it. It was extremely dirty. I was reserved at even dinning in but it was like the last option near the venue that I was attending. The other restaurants that were open in that vicinity couke not meat my dietary restrictions. In this case I wished I would have skipped a meal.

Unacceptable communication between server they sat other customers on the same table I was sitting (nothing to indicate and no one sat on that table before I went in and sat). This caused an upsetting situation between two group of customers trying to claimed for the table without any support from servers, which is not worth my time entertained by it.

Very friendly staff and amazing food. Veggie Pho was really good.

Pho Lucky Detroit is a good restaurant for Vietnamese food. Sorry not to have photos. All the food we ordered disappeared too fast so you know it was good!
