La Musique Temporarily Closed - Detroit

We had reservations for 6:15pm but there was no hostess present when we arrived. We ended up only ordering salads, but it took 45 minutes to receive them. Fortunately, we were able to make it to the show at 8pm, but we didn't leave the restaurant until 7:30pm.

The restaurant was completely deserted during our visit as no other customers came in. We decided to order dessert but were disappointed to find that there was only one option available: cheesecake. While it was okay, we would have preferred more options to choose from. On the bright side, our waiter, Alfonse, provided excellent service.

Great for eating before the theater. Small menu...would love more choices. We all had the catfish sandwich (yummy! and the gumbo (so good! . Our server, Alfonz, was outstanding and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Beers were a little small for the price...would love a pint glass.

Our server was excellent. I’m sorry I don’t recall her name. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but she still took more time with us than she had to.

My friend and I have dined at La Musique before a Fisher concert in the past. This time, we brought our daughters for lunch before seeing Hamilton. We had a wonderful experience; it was truly special. Our favorite waitress and bartender took great care of us. As always, Holly was welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. You are fortunate to have her as part of your team.
