By far the best smoothie you'll ever have. They have a great selection of smoothies with extra things you can add in. You watch them make your smoothie right in front of you, including cutting the fresh fruits. Much better than watching other places pour in premixed goup into the blender) Prices are a bit high for the smoothies $6+ depending on what you order), however when you see the amount of fruit and other thing... A small shop, expect a wait, but the wait is worth it. Smoothies prices seem high, but they are dense and filling. Personal favorite: the incredible hulk with kale added.
The organic products that are offered at GO! Smoothie are Absolutely Delicious (according to both my hard-to-please high school students and me: ! Not only did we stop in after a State Leadership Conference downtown to challenge our taste buds earlier this week, we were also able to talk to one of the owners, Callie Bradford, who gave us a plethora of information about nutrition and entrepreneurship. It was truly a 5-Star experience!
I work downtown and decided to stop in- I tried the Vanilla Paradise (almonds, vanilla protein, cinnamon, avocado, banana, almond milk, dates, and oatmeal) and it was by far the BEST smoothie I 've ever had. The barista was so friendly and explained everything since it was my first time. She told me you can swap things out and explained all the add-ins they offer. I told her I was interested in the new 'juice cleanse craze ' and she offered me a sample of the carrot juice and it was also delicious. I just went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe a few days ago for a similar protein smoothie and I found out it was so bad for you and had 600 calories in it- nothing like the GO SMOOITHIES. They 're all organic, vegan, and gluten-free. I lucked out on parking and found a spot right out front which I was surprised but that comes with a downtown area. Yes, the large was $10 but they use organic almonds which are very expensive. I 'm okay with spending that much because of the quality of the product. I am going to order a juice cleanse online which she recommended so my flavors will be available and fresh! I will most definitely be back when I work downtown!
GO Smoothie is delicious! I LOVE every smoothie bowl I 've had, and the go-ristas are so helpful with combos and add in suggestions. I find myself going consistently twice a week at least for their 'A B&J ' smoothie. My only suggestion is that they move with a bit more urgency when creating their master pieces. Sometimes I find myself waiting for quite some time even when I 'm the only one in the shop. Other than that--amazing!!
I stopped in to this small smoothie shop yesterday and got the Go! Pro smoothie, which had almond milk, chia seed, Vega protein powder, banana, cacao, berries, and honey in it. It was delicious! I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends. My only gripe is that $7 is quite a bit to spend on a drink, even a delicious one, so this will have to be a once-in-a-while type of outing for me.
