What Salvador Wisozk doesn't like about Friend Associate:
The service was quite disappointing. The bartender seemed unfamiliar with the drinks on the menu. My appetizer was incorrect, and the wait felt endless. I ended up going to the bar myself to get my drink, only to find the bartender distracted by texting. While the food presentation was appealing, the taste was just mediocre. I learned that this restaurant will soon be transitioning into a gastro-pub, but that doesn’t... View all feedback.
They have very good food, but the road is so busy at the weekends of the waiter had a heard flow to get our order and a few paints to bring our drink probably forgotten or simply could not hear us from external noise. but amazing eat good vibes and just bad waiter service on this day I guess.
Great ambiance great server. Food all sounded excellent but the execution was something to be desired. Food lacked flavor and quail was over cooked. Don’t even get me started on the fruit flies. Will not go back or recommend.
Friend Associate had a great ambience and a nice menu selection. The portions are too small for the price. Also the rolls were great, but should be included in the meal for the price design of the menu. The three different butters were a nice touch, but the Pesto Basil was bland and needed salt to raise the taste. If I didn't have the roles, I would definitely need to go somewhere else and eat something else. The desserts were very tasty, but the portions looked like the serving of a child. Also the prices were not exactly online. Expect to spend the same as an upscale menu to get an appropriate meal. Spent $50 per person not expected based on level specified online. Nice menu, but would not return unless there was a change with the portions for pricing.
Great cocktails and a really awesome ambiance to this new Greektown establishment. Food was a bit lacking for value considering the price, however there were many unique options available. Service was friendly and quick, however there was some pushiness to order more entrees as the night went along. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would probably return for cocktails and some light appetizers, but maybe not for a full course dinner.
The restaurant booked for dinner and when we arrived there it was closed. Unbelievable!
