Amazing Japanese cuisine. Loved the ambience. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wonderful desserts. Although I felt like the service could have been better.I recommend this place to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. MUST TRY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE View all feedback.
What Rashad El Majzoub doesn't like about Bash Original Izakaya:
Manager was very disrespectful. I showed up with my friend at 8:15, I waited at the front to get a seat nobody was looking at us. After 10min the manager finally showed up but told me that the last table they take is at 8:20. What a JOKE! I tried to explain to him that I was waiting for over 10min, and he assumed that I was lying and he even told me that he was at the front 10min ago and he didn’t see me. Lack of pro... I liked this place a lot sushi freshed made decorative, excellent service attentive and clean I will highly recommend all.
So I almost didn't rate this restaurant because it's that amazing. I don't feel my words could do it justice...also I kinda don't want yall flooding out and trying it. (Slight shade) ? Seriously, from the flavorful food to the authentic decor and environment, I loved every moment in this place. I could go on and on. Thank u to whoever thought of this anomaly in the city ?Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options to choose from. I didn't try any, bit next time I will.Parking: You have to know when you're going and plan accordingly. I would call and ask what they recommend.
A cozy Japanese place that also has traditional Japanese seating option and serves the most delicious J food! Not to forget, the service was impressive too. It is definitely a must try if you’re in or around the Detroit metropolitan area and a J food enthusiast like me! ?
This is a small Japanese restaurant. However, it feels very cozy. I like the tatami structure inside. The waiters are very friendly and make me feel great. The food is fresh, and the prices are not too expensive. We also tried a bottle of sake, and it was very pleasant.Overall, it was a nice experience. And I will come back.
We decided to share the ruby roll, and I must say it was the best sushi I’ve had in quite some time. The flavors of the various elements in the roll were delightful, and the soy sauce and wasabi provided were unnecessary. My main complaint, though, was the discrepancy between the menu pictures and the actual sushi rolls. I ordered the ribs, which were wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection, literally “falling off the bone.” However, I found it hard to detect any flavor from the kochujang sauce. On the other hand, the side of poutine was fantastic—crispy and enjoyable. The drinks were truly remarkable. The drink menu evolves over time, and although I was advised to try an older drink that wasn’t available, the Bushido Sour turned out to be an excellent whiskey cocktail. The lychee sangria was also wonderful, taking me back to my Hawaiian adventures. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I’ve never encountered a waitress who took away alcoholic drinks before they were finished without asking. I ordered two different drinks, and both were cleared away before I had finished. After the second drink was taken, we decided not to order dessert. Additionally, the waitress seemed to ignore us at times, leaving us waiting while she attended to other tables. In terms of pricing, I felt some items were slightly overpriced, especially considering the service. Overall, I felt somewhat rushed towards the end of the meal. If I find myself downtown again, I might give Bash another chance for a second opinion. The Tuna Festivals they offer sound intriguing and worth exploring.
