Athens Souvlaki Detroit

Yesterday we were in Detroit for an exhibition at the TCF Center. We went to another place for lunch when we went from Athens and because we loved Greek food decided to try. We were not disappointed. I had the vegetarian gyro and my partner had the lamb. Both were delicious. Also the beet with yogurt sauce and pita were delicious. The navy bean soup was so savory. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The food came fast. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable.

I recommend this restaurant! George was very helpful and accommodating in planning a team dinner for me and my staff. We were provided the back bar to sit separately from the main dining room. We placed our order online in advance and the food came in time and efficiently. The food and service was excellent as always. Thank you.

Lunch special was Gyro and Greek Salad for $9.86 with tax. Sandwiches was very good size and very good. First Greek spot I have been in a very long time that makes there own pitas! Huge dining room but it looks like most of the business is takeout. If your dining in don’t sit to close to the register it just gets a little busy.

The restaurant was so accommodating to host a large group and they worked very closely with me to plan a menu days in advance. The food was amazing, and everyone in our party really enjoyed it! Thanks to David and all of the great cooks too! Highly recommend!

The best Greek chicken salad and authentic Greek cuisine. Your Pita bread is amazing. It's a must if you eat your salad. I definitely recommend eating here! George and Evan are the best!
