This my first time here, I met up with my brother and sister in law! I found out that my dad would frequently come here and get smelt after work! I remember eating the smelt it was delicious! Today was a good day for memories!

After browsing the menu, I ordered the Ocean Perch dinner with fries and slaw (it included four pieces) and requested the fries be cooked extra crispy. I also picked up a pound of fresh snow crab legs for $9.99 a pound to save for later. Now, let’s talk about the fries—they were fantastic! They weren’t plain; they were seasoned and had a great flavor, especially after the two-block walk back to my truck. If you’re planning to walk at all, I recommend asking for them to be cooked a little longer. As for the Ocean Perch, when I ordered, I was informed that the dinner came with four filets, fries, slaw, and bread. To my surprise, there were actually five fillets in the box, and they were so hot that they burned my mouth! The fish was coated in a cornmeal batter, which provided a wonderful taste and texture—definitely not your typical beer or tempura batter. The slaw was pretty standard, possibly with a hint of horseradish, but overall it was just okay. As for the snow crab legs, I’ll reserve judgment until later. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. The staff checked on me at least four times while I was looking over the menu and browsing the fresh cases. I can’t wait to return next month—what a great find!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The catfish tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. I won’t be returning.

I had a really disappointing experience with the chicken wings. Even after soaking them in cold water, they still had a terrible odor! I definitely do not recommend the special offering 50 wings for $19.99. The quality was just not there, and the wings smelled bad. When I called to discuss the issue, they refused to provide a refund or store credit. Overall, I wouldn't suggest purchasing those wings.
