A&w - Detroit Lakes

Good burgers, and comfort food. The burgers are piled high and taste great! Root beer floats are another must, classics.

Disappointed in their hours and availability. We love A&W but this location had been closed more times then not when we are in DL

Avoid. ordered 4 things 2 of which where correct. When I asked to get the mistakes fixed I got an irritated look from the employee. They also stared to bicker amongst themselves on who to blame, not a good look. Gave two stars because the food was good and the wait time wasn 't long.Edit: I came back to add a couple things... after reading other reviews they all look the same got attitude the employees seem stressed order wasn 't right I thought this repeating pattern should be throwing up red flags to the managers, but it looks like it 's been going on for a long time. These issues seem to be a leadership problem and I would recommend different management.

I wouldn't truly call this a restaurant. It is part of a gas station. The food was decent, the root beer I got tasted off. I think the staff were stressed out and you could tell. Overall no real complaints.

Since the restaurant has been closing earlier, I'm usually too late to stop. Which in reality is a blessing in disguise, since my favorites are the chicken strips, cheese curds and a root beer freeze
