However, we were the only customers in the restaurant. I hope they promote themselves more, as it’s a fantastic alternative to many other local spots. The menu has a very urban vibe.

The food was carefully prepared and very good, without going overboard (portions/spices/gimmicks/etc). All in all it seems like what you always hope to get (but don 't) at the more famous, tourist trap-type places with ridiculous waits. The Breakfast Table, on the other hand, is a gem- hopefully it stays that way!

It is having a few little iss... read more New Breakfast Lunch Cafe in Destin.. This is a new locally owned breakfast lunch place that has opened up in the middle of Destin. It is having a few little issues with the learning curve, but give them a chance. The place is pretty small with only about a dozen tables but luckily not many folks have found out about this place yet. The service is slow, but friendly. The food is excellent and is worth a little extra wait. We came here because the wait a the place down the street was a hour. We are glad we came here as we thought the food was better and low priced. I am not sure how well they will handle the Memorial Day weekend crowds, but if they make it through that, they should be a lot better on the other side. This place is worth giving a try.
