We’ve been visiting Pepito’s for a few years while vacationing in Destin, we found the quality of food consistently great! while we have always received good service this year it has been excellent! Our server Alex(159) provided exceptional service during a very busy time. Today we shared nachos,Frieda style grilled steak and they were very good! We will be returning again before we head home! What DD581 doesn't like about Pepitos Mexican:
Went with high hopes only to leave complaining. Services was not attentive in the slightest. Food was average at best. They forgot some food we ordered. Took them about 20 minutes to even take drink orders. Servers were all smile less and seemed like we were a problem. Hostest never smiled once. I would not go back. I am sure others in Destin are better. View all feedback.

Great food, clean restaurant. Excellent service! We had ground beef tacos, enchiladas, shredded beef taco ? ? and ground beef taco salad. Fried ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. Clearly made fresh ? which was a super nice surprise.
I ordered huevos tostadas during lunch and it was amazing. The right ratio of black beans and salsa and roped with a lightly fried egg. The server Paula was attentive and friendly. Overall great experience.
Our family went here for lunch and we all ate different dishes and we all enjoyed everything including our 2 year old Roger the manager was awesome very friendly and was very accommodating prices were reasonable for a tourist area and special prices on drinks us guys wound up in the bar watching the ball games and drinking great margaritas while the girls went shopping and a special shout out to the bartender great person especially taking care of our little one going back tonight round two
