Ordered the Shirmp and Grits with a side of fruit. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. My food came out hot. The dish was a littlespicy, but I enjoy spicy food. The fruit was fresh and a good amount. I enjoyed my fruit bowl. The rest of my party enjoyedtheir food as well. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast or brunch meal. I will return again.

We arrived right before 9 and there was a 10 mins wait, not bad for late July.The service was great, and she was attentive with quick refills and rapid check ins.They have a great menu with a good amount of selections from savory to healthy even something for those who are looking for something on the sweet side.Once we received our food the portions were generous and delicious.I recommend their biscuit and gravy, it comes with bacon and a side of frieds potatoes which were cooked to perfection.

The food here is incredibly rich and flavorful—I could eat at Crackings every day during my stay and never be disappointed. The Lobster Grits with Gouda are incredible; although it’s a small portion, it’s so decadent that you won’t need much else. The Crawfish Egg-Touffee is outstanding, with the fried green tomatoes adding a tart contrast that perfectly balances the creamy Creole hollandaise. The Captain’s Course Omelette is pure indulgence, packed with garlic, cream cheese, and avocado. Even the kids’ grilled ham and cheese was well-prepared, cheesy, and delicious. Our server was fantastic—attentive and helpful. The decor has a charming eclectic farmhouse vibe.

The service is excellent—our server was attentive and friendly, regularly checking if we needed coffee or anything else. The food was delicious, and the coffee stood out as well. Often, breakfast spots serve weak coffee, but not here. The place is clean, and you can even sense that freshness in the air. We arrived early and didn’t have to wait, but by the time we finished our meal—around 30 minutes—a line had already formed. It was the same during my first visit, so I recommend coming early if you want to avoid waiting.
