Hanuman Restaurant Alice Springs

This was our first night in Alice. We wanted a special restaurant for a birthday celebration. It was very nice food if you like Thai food. There were Indian options available too. The oysters and prawns were very good.

The place was jumping. We had to wait a few minutes for our table to be free but it definitely was worth the wait. Had the best meal. I can still taste it. Loved it.

Have enjoyed wonderful meals at Hanaman in Darwin NT as well as Adelaide SA (now closed) but our meal tonight was so awful it has moved me to write a review in order to save other travelers from making the same mistake I did.Hanaman in Alice Springs must be trading on the name only because the care and finesse displayed in the "fusion" style food served in Darwin has instead been replaced with buttered chicken out of the jar and noodles straight from a bain marie... it was the worst $86 I have ever spent.
