Kam Lun Chinese - Desert Hot Springs

I just love it here people the foods the environment the vibes all makes me happy to enjoy this place every time I dive.

This is my Hubby's Favorite place to eat in the desert. We drive to Desert Hot springs just to eat here. The staff are always so friendly and work hard to get your food out fast. The food is always delicious, we're so glad your back open!

I have been eating and loving Chinese food all my life, I remember my mother loved real authentic Chinese food. The jumbo round deep fried shrimps where her favorite and where only served at the finest Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel valley. Like the golden dragon, and lotus garden It has taken me 20 years to finally find a Chinese restaurant just like those out here and it's kam luns. I would say even better because they are so authentic they go back to China avery year during this time when it's just to hot for them for a month or so and come back. They have been in the same spot for at least the 22 years that I have been out here and will go no where else .the restaurant is a little dated but that's because since covid 99% of customers are take out. There food is the best, there portions are large the prices are to be expected there not cheep but are able to keep there prices down because there in desert hot springs plus I think they own the building. Can't say enough about this place or obviously I can you want the best authentic Chinese food in the Coachella valley you have to try Kam luns. The last time I was there two other people where in there for pick up one from palm desert the other from la quinta so that should tell you. Always call ahead your order the wait is usually between 20-45 mins to get you order because they don't make it until you order it. ENJOY!!

I’ve been coming here for years and never disappointed. Food is always fresh . Large assortment of choices. Great prices! Older building and can use a few touch ups but overall I highly recommend Kam Lun .

Absolutely a gem!!! Quaint little Chinese restaurant! Seated quickly, staff attentive, our order came within 10 minutes!! Outstanding freshly prepared Chinese cuisine. Excellent flavor! Amazing experience! People kept arriving and got busy quick! Parking limited, but, ok. Get ready for a taste treat!!
