Steak 'n Shake - Des Plaines

The food was good, but the restaurant was freezing. We had to eat outside because it was so cold inside, so if you're planning to dine there, bring a jacket. Also, I almost forgot to mention that you have to order from a machine, which took a lot longer than ordering from a person, especially when you're with a family of five.

I've been visiting this restaurant for many years, even before the pandemic. They've made some changes, most notably switching to kiosk ordering instead of table service. They've also updated their menu a bit. However, they still offered my usual dishes, which were just as delicious as ever! The staff was friendly, efficient, and the place was clean. It was a great overall experience!

The burger and shakes were fantastic! I had the Mint Oreo shake, and it was incredible!

My son took me here today for the vatertag and this place was spick and span from top to bottom. very high-tech without a cashier. I have ordered everything on kiosk to their various vikings. friendly staff welcomes them as soon as they go in and eat is super fast delivered to them as they call their names.

It was okay. Burger Joint places you generally end up spending more money than you playing on and you're in a fast food atmosphere. The people were pretty nice and my burger was pretty good
