Rivers Casino Des Plaines

We have dined at this restaurant dozens of times and have always been satisfied, but this visit was a huge disappointment. The usual manager and server were absent, and the food quality was poor. The dishes were rubbery and nearly inedible. Our appetizers arrived with our main courses, even though we ordered them first. Something has clearly changed, and it's not for the better. I'm giving this a big thumbs down.

The food was great, but the service felt hurried, and it was difficult to find a server.

The casino is decent for gambling, but be sure to bring some hand sanitizer because the chips are quite dirty and tend to stick together. Additionally, the waitstaff is on the slower side; it took 20 minutes to get a drink. I might give it another try in the future, hoping for a better experience.

This is a great venue with a spacious poker room that offers plenty of action. The competition is tough, and you won't find many inexperienced players here. They have a high hands promotion with a $500 payout every 45 minutes, which adds to the excitement. The lighting is good, the decor is appealing, and the overall cleanliness is commendable. The chairs are also quite comfortable.

Great food! Burgers and fries are top notch! Clean and lots to see!
