Nice place for a late nice drink. The prices were good. A decent amount. I guess the range would be about 30'ish. If everything else is closed in the area. This is a place to go View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Miner Street Tavern:
This is a 4am (at weekend) neighborhood bar that seems to have the same 5-10 regulars and various clowns, but the same circus every night. The service is fine, the prices are high for a diving bar and I think they use the Des Plaines Theater audience. Shuffleboard table is nice touch View all feedback.
The owners went above and beyond to assist us when my wife accidentally left her purse behind on a Saturday night, especially since they are closed on Sundays! They refused to accept any compensation from me. A huge thank you to the amazing team at the Miner!
Been here only a few times. Each time was not bad, there were darts and good alcohol. However this last time I had gone I was given a watered down beer and had asked if I could get a different one, the female older women with brown hair said the beer cannot be watered down and that I just don't know how summer shandy tastes. I was shocked by how defensive she got and I ended up leaving. She dismissed my boyfriend and I as if we knew nothing. Pretty disappointed and hope you have a better experience.
Went here was busy for a Saturday only one bartender. Not a great start waited to get my drink for 15-20 just asked for the bill and left
Small local bar. Overall clean with a nice atmosphere. 90s music was playing while I was there. Decent selection of beer and hard liquor. I’m not sure if they have a kitchen or not.
You never know what you're gonna get here but generally, it's a good time with friendly people. It's definitely a neighborhood bar vibe.
