What kfilipinas doesn't like about Giacomo's:
As a pasta lover I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese, side of meat balls and penne with creamy vodka sauce. Both the pasta noodles were overcooked, not al dente at all. The bolognese dance didn't have that hearty meaty taste, it just tasted like marinara sauce with some ground meat and salt. Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine. Wonderful food as well as great service. Never disappoints.
It has been awhile since I've dined here but we used to go on special occasions. Right now I'm pretty much have a need for that meat lasagna. It is a particularly hearty portion and will fill you up. The interesting thing about Giacomo's Lasagna is it has polenta in it. It's so dang tasty. Will be making a trip back here soon. Also, the service here has always been on point too.
They catered my mother's memorial service, everyone raved about the food. The food was excellent. Thank you.
