I have dined at this restaurant 3-4 times now, and each meal has been enjoyable. The service ranged from good to excellent. Seating options are available indoors or in a covered area at the front. I enjoy trying different items on the menu. On my first visit, I ordered the frutti de mare, but I always challenge myself to try something new. However, I may end up ordering it again on my next visit. I also tried their p... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Via Marina Wood Fired Pizza Italian Cafe:
High prices for small portions. The croquettes are a joke and a waste of The middle of the pizza was soggy, but tasted good. I didn't enjoy competing with the staffs chatter in order to hear my dinner partner, it was quite distracting having their conversations right there in the lobby where we ate. Kind staff though! We had heard for some time that the marina wood was excellently fired pizza. also we were told very small so they probably need reservations. early at the weekend to stay and in the did was the whole sitting place full, but they had outside seats with heating and it was okay that we sat there and have a wonderful pizza. I think we'll keep up next time and eat in. the pizza was great, the food was great and the people were great
Actually this place is really good and it's in a good location you know it has water nearby so everyone loves that. But what's more important is the food and how the food tastes because after all it is a restaurant. So if we judge the place by the food, I think they still get a good rating because I like the food and it was yummy to me. By the way the person that I ate the food with also said that they like the food too.
Pizza here is phenomenal, I always get the via Marina. Pasta is also generally very good, only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that last time the pasta was undercooked. I also love the cafe style atmosphere
The food is really good! I like their pesto and the eggplant parmesan app, but those are always my favorite. The Via Marina pizza is really good too (I switch tomatoes out for olives and they use kalamatas). Sometimes the center is a little soggy, but the dough is really good. Haven't tried the desserts yet, but the lemon thing looks really good. Great wine selection and the Manhattans and hot toddys are excellent. ?
