Big Sam and Gabeâs fan. The experience was nice. However, for the price, the food was not the cut above you expect for dollar entrees. The filet was good, not great. The lasagna was bland compared to what was expected. The Chicken Madeira was quite good, but too expensive for chicken. The sides were uneventful. Everything was okay, just not good enough for the price. View all feedback.
What Joey Maggio doesn't like about Sam & Gabe's at The Lyon:
The seating is a bit cramped and the food arrived awkwardly fast. Our steaks were prepared correctly, but lacked seasoning. Scallops were perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. Service felt rushed, and annoying. Charcuterie plate was underwhelming. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is closed and Open Table needs to update their information to reflect that. I made a reservation through the app and drove 8 miles to the restaurant, only to find out that it was closed. What a disappointment!

Despite the constant closing of the restaurant almost a month ago, we were unknown, we were still CONFIRMED reservations. Not sure how it worked, but we were quite disappointed when we came to the restaurant and it was locked in without light.
Enjoyed the atmosphere including the view of city skyline. Ordered the steak deburgo since the restaurant touts it as their signature dish. While the beef tenderloin itself was good, I didn't enjoy the sauce. I was expecting more especially given this dish was the restaurant's specialty, and given the price point.
