Our server was amazing and did a great job with suggestions. We loved everything. The Ribeye nachos were delicious. The fondue was amazing.Highly recommend! The New Orleans barbecue shrimp was especially good. There is a great variety of food. I loved the wine andcocktail menu. Such a fun place. Make plans to go!!

If you haven't been, it is most definitely worth the money and should be on your Des Moines restaurant bucketlist. My only complaint is that it's loud and cramped inside and intimate dinners don't work because you can't hear each othertalk.

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. 3. The food was outstanding! (and I am a tough critic, as I went to cooking school and am quite the foodie) We had a WONDERFUL time and everyone was very impressed with how perfect this place is! I am so glad I found Roca and would recommend to anyone that is looking for great food in the downtown Des Moines area. THANK YOU CONNOR! And I'm sorry, I can't remember our waitress' name, but she was flawless also!!

Great variety of dipping food including meat, fruit. Bread and vegetables. Seared tuna fabulous! Beautiful! Craveable! Root beer glazed pork sliders made with cabco root beer) simply served but packed with flavor and texture! So good! Even the bun was fabulous! Ordered Gotham sour and Glenwood honey bee . Both drink’s unique, flavorful and thoughtfully served. Worth every penny! Can’t wait to go back!

The best thing I tried was the yellow fin tuna served on little wonton crisps with edamame (the sauces were incredible flavored with wasabi and soy sauce) so good! The skewers were probably my least favorite, heavy on the vinegar, but still tasted good and appreciated the crisp slaw on top. The Horseshoes and Hand Grenades cocktail was delicious too!

The food was all delicious, and I was disappointed that I couldn't finish every bite because I was so full. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic! She provided great recommendations from the menu, answered all our questions patiently despite the busy atmosphere, and was also a fun presence. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu!

So far, we have never had a bad meal or poor service. I would recommend the fish tacos, the scallops (served on a delicious corn mix), the Asian Lettuce Wraps with peanut sauce, and the grilled Brussel sprouts. Don't let the idea of Brussel sprouts scare you off - they are fried with bacon and are delicious. Their drinks, like the dirty martini or White Russian, are usually perfect. Overall, I highly recommend trying Roca - it's a great place!

I was impressed by the friendly and personable staff, as well as the inviting atmosphere (I particularly enjoyed watching Charlie Chaplin films on one of the TVs without sound). The menu offered a wide variety of options from around the world, all of which were expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Even as someone who doesn't consider themselves a foodie, I could appreciate the attention to detail in every dish, from the distribution of the sauce to the perfect balance of flavors. When even a carnivore like myself is scraping the plate for more, you know the food is exceptional. I would not hesitate to make the long trip again just to experience this culinary gem.

The flatbread pizza was perfect and we supplemented it with brussels sprouts and crab cake sliders. We even hung out for a good 20 minutes after our meal just to chill. I went and sat in the bar and got exceptional service from both bartenders. I have the fish tacos (Cod) and truffle frits for dinner. The truffleries were excellent with the perfect texture and taste. The fish tacos were great and definitely worth getting. I have the special for the desert that was a brownie with caramel, whipped cream and salted sprouts. Everything was excellent and worth a try when you visit the city or a local.
