What User doesn't like about Main Street Cafe Bakery:
this restaurant is in order. if they work in downtown des moines, especially on the skywalk, they can be used for a vegan packaging, salat and a decent suppe. most salates must be adjusted (i.e. no-cheese requested) to be vegan. I appreciate that they have made available a few vegan options, but it is disappointing that none of their cookies or other tasty vegans are vegan and that they do not serve a tofu cube on th... Never had a bad meal here. I especially like the numerous available salads.
Absolutely love this place! All kinds of options, prices are good and everything tastes great.
My first breakfast in Des Moines happened to be the #1 on the menu. Love the texture of the raisin cinnamon bread, how layered flavors of meat, cheese, egg, sauce blend together friendly the staff were. Neat building, great atmosphere for working on your laptop, a cup of coffee or brunch.
You need to enter the office building and proceed up stairs to second floor. We had great breakfast sandwiches on GF buns. Staff was very accommodating. Everything is super clean with wide open space. Highly recommend if you are looking for GF.
