The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they offer a great selection of beers on tap. We tried the double IPA and triple IPA, both of which were excellent and well-balanced. The burgers were delicious, although they were slightly on the salty side if I had to find a fault.
The service at this restaurant was terrible. Two groups of people walked out while waiting to be seated, and we had to wait a long time to be served. Some customers even left because the wait was too long. Additionally, the bathroom was poorly maintained with no toilet paper and a clogged toilet in one of the stalls. However, the beer was delicious and they had a nice outdoor patio.
Food was great. service is awesome. Ana is on top of it. I tried a couple of the sours are my favorite gotta go with the Lopsided.
Really good beer. They focus on sours but have a couple of really good hazy IPAs too. You can find whatever variety of beer you're looking for. And the menu/food is amazing. Food is more like a nice restaurant rather than brewery
Shout out to Lua Brewing as it was the best brewery visited in Des Moines. Great space with vibrant wall art and rustic finishing for an overall warm vibe. The clean and crisp beers with custom glasses for each specific pour is also a very nice touch. The Kingmaker was really good. Sat at the bar on a Saturday night where there was definitely a push to keep you drinking or get moving but I guess that’s the price of popularity. Well worth a visit!
