Louie's Wine Dive - Des Moines

Louie is never disappointed. we go for brunch, dinner drinks, drinks after dinner. atmosphere makes fun, personal is always great, eating is always amazing!

The result of an attack of the current night target, we tried louie to dinner. they were fully booked and we had no reservations, but they could find us at the bar. despite the whole venue, it felt more comfortable than crowded, which was wonderful. megan I didn't catch the spells, so I apologize if this served us wrong and it was absolutely great. I mean, they were filled to the good, and she still went out of her to be proactiw and attentive to our needs. perfect amount of interaction – friendly, and although we were at the bar, we never felt as if it was floating – and fabulous service. we ordered a feature soup, but if it wasn't what we expected nothing wrong with the preparation, only different aromes than we wanted and they didn't hesitate to remove it from our ticket. unexpectedly, I was sincerely impressed. her service has made our night special. while the service was the highlight of our evening, I also need to note that they are super gluten-free friendly. the sheer sorte was a special tasty bite for us that we did not have to sacrifice on the taste, etc. due to food restrictions . overall, fantastic experience and will undoubtedly return to customers. thanks. louie’s!

Don’t bother ordering takeout here. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for years and finally decided to give it a go. They told us our food would be ready in 15 20 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later, and was told by the very nice hostess that it wasn’t ready and would be another 15 20 minutes. No problem, they were busy. Fast forward to 45 minutes and several check ins later, and the order was finally ready. But guess what, 3 of the 4 items we ordered were stone cold before I even left the restaurant. I assume some of the order must have been sitting waiting for the final piece for much of that 45 minutes. Not impressed, and we likely won’t be going back here again.

I sat here for my Prom dinner and it was delicious! They had the most amazing Mock tails and mine had ginger beer, which was amazing since I had no one since my trip to Britain. the fish and chips were also delicious, as well as the salat of my friends, whom I tried a bit. the service was amazing and we were sat immediately, although we were a little early for our reservation. in any case will come again!

Was recommended here by shannon. man and I had both chicken sandwiches and both were so good! the fries were also delicious. the personal was super friendly, the atmosphere was very nice. they also have a cool outside terrace.
