Contribute FeedbackLos Laureles has received a mix of reviews, with some customers feeling unsatisfied with the quality of food and service while others absolutely love it. The negative reviews mentioned poor quality food, rude waitstaff, and uncleanliness. Some customers were even disappointed with the poor treatment they received. On the other hand, positive reviewers raved about the authentic Mexican cuisine, fast service, and friendly atmosphere. Overall, it seems that Los Laureles is hit or miss depending on who you ask, with some declaring it their go-to spot and others vowing to never return.
For a Mexican restaurant it was above average I would say. I was quite surprised in my meal. I got the Seasoned chicken salad and it wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was still good. Seasoned chicken over Spanish rice, topped with mozzarella cheese. I thought the whole thing would be on lettuce, but the lettuce was on the side, topped with sour cream and guacamole. It was. A decent sized portion and I didn't finish it all. I wish the chips were warm though. The salsa was okay and the Churros didn't have much sugar or cinnamon on them. Overall, it was okay!
Open later than most on weekends which is so convenient! Food is always great. I judge by the Chile relleno.. lol.. if I hate it I won't eat anything else from a restaurant. I've eaten here for years and always better than any other last night spot
What a find! Growing up in California we miss having good authentic Mexican food. We were so happy to find Los Laureles.
I visited this restaurant for the first time recently. The service was good, but the tamales I ordered were very dry and the meat was tough. I would not order them again.
We recently had a wonderful experience celebrating a family birthday at this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed dining outside when the weather permitted. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
