Nestled in a historic building, this dive bar exudes charm with its cracked tiles and eclectic decor, showcasing quirky past patron contributions. While the atmosphere is lively and the prices are affordable, experiences can vary significantly. Service is attentive yet occasionally slow, with a strict policy requiring drink orders to access the pool table, which some patrons found off-putting. The ambiance is characterized by a nostalgic vibe, featuring amusing wall messages and a solid beer selection, albeit mostly in cans. Despite its imperfections, it remains a popular spot for those seeking authenticity amidst the grit.

Was User at Locust Tap a mag?
Talk about a dive. Prosthetic legs hanging from the ceiling and the walls are covered in Ryan was here type messages of mosquitoes past. Now that the building is supposed to sound structural, it is worth visiting for a drink. Good selection of beer, mostly in cans. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Locust Tap:
I didn't kick out of any reason proudly. I was not even given a reason; just because I'm sitting at a stand and watching friends, playing pool paid to play and watching their wallets? can I get an explanation? View all feedback.

Have been many times but lastnight I went in and ordered a tito's cranberry. The little girl behind the bar made it with triple sec.... it was completely impossible to get her attention to have it remade. She seemed very drunk. She at one point jumped over the counter and yelled at a customer playing the jutbox and then skipped his songs. Guess it wasn't her style of music. Love this place just not her.

Two words. Dive. Bar. If you are into a historic building that has tiles that are cracking, holes in the ceiling, paint that's chipping and booths that are tearing then definitely check this place out. Service was pretty attentive. Drinks are inexpensive. Just do not be one of those people that claims you love places like this just so your friends think more highly of you.

The drinks were good, and the bar had a pleasant atmosphere. However, I had a negative experience with the server, who was quite rude when I chose not to tip on my card (I prefer to tip in cash after I've finished my drinks to avoid taxes). I understand that everyone has tough days, but this incident really affected my overall experience. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Fun place, nice cheap pool tables and juke box with everything.
