Lazize - Des Moines

The food was amazing! We have the mixing plate. It took a while to finish, but the food was great and unique. Full taste and the gentleman at the counter was super nice and even gave us a free sweetness for the wait. Will be back.

We've gone dozens of times and never seen anyone. On Saturday we decided to ring the bell, and surely a helpful gentleman appeared, and my wife and I ordered two entrees (a Shawarma and a Kebab). There was only one person to work, and he explained that it would take 20 minutes to get our food, but we were in no hurry. It actually ended some time longer than 20 minutes, but the gentleman who runs the store let us know and apologized profusely. When we got our food, it was worth waiting. both dishes were delicious. Everything was fresh, hot and tasteful. My wife said she could eat the chicken kebab every day. My family loves Mediterranean food and this is some of the best I had in the area. It's hard to compete with Vietnam Café, right opposite the food dish that has great fresh food, almost immediately ready, but if you're looking for a break from Pho and Train Mi, check out Lazize. You'll be glad you did it.

The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious! We had the sampler when we tried everything. There wasn't one thing that my wife or I was the best for everything was great. It takes a little to prepare, i thnk it was about 15 minutes, but ot was all made by scratches minus the lamb as it is a russian series. It was worth it. Definitely will return.
