I had one of their omelets and iced macchiato. Super overpriced, and the coffee wasn't even strong.. The only good tasting thing was the macaroons. They were actually pretty good. It had a rich flavor to it.
Traveling to Des Moines and didn’t expect a lot of vegan options. While I wouldn’t say there’s a lot of options, the green quinoa bowl was delicious! Be aware that there a bit of kick to this so you may want to leave off the hot sauce. Bit so delicious! It was a bit tough to find, as it’s inside a building on the skywalk. But definitely worth it and I would eat here again.
Just plain delicious. Sandwiches and salads, but 'fancier '. Love the options for dine-in and grab-n-go.
This place is really charming, and their ham and Swiss croissants are absolutely delicious! However, it can be quite tricky to find if you're visiting, like I am. I'm staying at the Des Moines Downtown Marriott, and I followed Google Maps to get here, but it’s important to note that the entrance isn't on the ground floor. Instead, Google directed me to an office building, where there was a friendly person at the front desk who pointed me to the elevator that leads to the Skywalk level. From there, I had to go through the double black doors at the back. Once inside, I just needed to walk around to the front to the pastry case to place my order. Next time, I think I'll just access it directly from the Skywalk; that should be much easier!
