They were actually pretty good. It had a rich flavor to it.

Be aware that there a bit of kick to this so you may want to leave off the hot sauce. Bit so delicious!It was a bit tough to find, as it’s inside a building on the skywalk. But definitely worth it and I would eat here again.

However, it can be quite tricky to find if you're visiting, like I am. I'm staying at the Des Moines Downtown Marriott, and I followed Google Maps to get here, but it’s important to note that the entrance isn't on the ground floor. Instead, Google directed me to an office building, where there was a friendly person at the front desk who pointed me to the elevator that leads to the Skywalk level. From there, I had to go through the double black doors at the back. Once inside, I just needed to walk around to the front to the pastry case to place my order. Next time, I think I'll just access it directly from the Skywalk; that should be much easier!
