Owner is great! Very vocal community driven business. One woman shop and most of her stuff is pre-ordered since it's just her and her family. Odd hours so you gotta pre-order and plan ahead. Foods always made fresh. My brother and I live in Ames but we like to order lots to freeze for later. Worth the odd hours

Delicious food that made my tastebuds dance. She donated a big meal to a family I know and while I picked it up I made a comment about future ordering while having a dairy allergy to work with. The owner immediately made a rice bowl with fresh salsa for me to try. It was inhaled. So impressed with your initiative to feed local kids, support community members, artists and your friends all while supporting your family. Major kudos. There will definitely be future orders from us.

I placed an order ahead of time (days ahead) as she requested so she had time to prepare what I had ordered. I received a confirmation that everything would be ready. I tried to follow up with her a couple days ahead of time to find out how much the order would be and confirm. All seemed good, she'd let me know costs the next day. I never heard back from her until 9:30 AM the day that I was supposed to pick up food for a holiday party. She sent me a note telling me that she couldn't fulfill my order that asked if Thursday would work. Or 6 later the night I ordered it. No, the day she cancelled was the day of the get together. Then she and her friends accused me of lying and being unreasonable. Wont go here again.
