Fiesta Mexican - Des Moines

I visited for a quick dinner with friends, and overall, the food was quite good. However, there were a few mix-ups with our orders, such as forgetting the extra toppings we requested, substituting beans for more rice, and leaving out the guacamole. If my next visit goes smoothly, I’ll consider giving it an extra star. The fajitas were excellent; I highly recommend the combination of steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo. I also tried the Chori Pollo, which was fantastic and has become a new favorite Mexican dish for me. Their dessert selection looks great, and I opted for the flan, which had a generous portion size compared to other places, so that was definitely a plus!

The drinks and food here are amazing! I really enjoyed their California burrito, and the grilled chicken tacos and queso were fantastic as well. On Taco Tuesdays, they have a special that includes two tacos with a side and hot sauce for just $8.

Good Carnitas and Fajitas. Salsa is really good too. Pina Colada was ok. They have a popsicle bar!

The food is incredible! Our waiter was fun and attentive, making the experience even better. The portion sizes were generous, and we all ended up taking leftovers home. We even returned the following night for takeout. The prices were very reasonable and definitely worth every penny, so we left a nice tip. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was fast—we only waited about 10 minutes for our meals.

Great food! Our waitress was very good. She was prompt, came back several times to check on us. She gave us the leftover salsa (their homemade) from the little carafe. Told her we would definitely be back. It was a nice spacious place, with good lighting.
