Blaze Pizza - Des Moines

Excellent pizza joint with a modern decor. Parking is in a gated lot. (Don't forget to validate your ticket at the register- 2hrs free) The service is good, and menu is self explanatory. The pizza topping choices are ample. They have a multitude of drink choices as well from soda to juice drinks. There is also a gated outside dining area for when the weather is nice.

I use to go here all the time over one year ago and it was always a great experience. I just went tonight and The service, employees and overall presentation of the place has went downhill! Not sure if the employees are getting paid well but they looked drained and not well kept. A few were wiping their nose and the oven guy seemed to be drenched in sweat. They were also very rude except for one girl which was doing the dough. When I went to pay for my order I also asked for a medium fountain drink. The guy taking my order slides me over a cup that had been sitting on the counter (for who knows how long). I asked for a new cup please, he got an attitude and grabbed a new one. He had an attitude the whole time. On top that I got my pizza home and the bottom was burnt, like they didn?t clean the oven. I WILL NOT ever go back here again and will be letting everyone I use to send here not to go. Would have gave 0 stars if I could. The fact that I don?t usually write reviews, tells me this was a horrible experience.

I try not to review chains, but I think Blaze is a reasonable exception. This pizza is the best for the price, and you can put anything you want on it! Staff is always super friendly, and completes orders in a timely manner. Blaze is one of my all time favs, and you can always count on a great, fast fired pie from them.

Visited at noon on Sunday 9/25, a young female and male were working their butts off. Manager kept disappearing even with a line. Service from the two employees were amazing even with the work load. Food was great, but wanted to review because of these two hard working employees. Management might need to show improvement for a 5 star review.

Great staff very friendly and more then happy to walk you through the experience if your a first timer.pizza was straight out of the oven. They pretty much have everything but the kitchen sink for toppings the cheese bread is absolutely fire so are the s'mores the person with had the brownie for dessert. I asked how it was she said the only thing that could make it better was if she bought the tray and had a gallon of I e cream lol
