We discovered this restaurant during a trip from Chicago and I have never had vegan pho this delicious before. They really work magic with the mushroom broth. The tofu in the pho is alright, but they offer a variety of other delicious ingredients. The quality of the cilantro, lime, basil, and sprouts is exceptional. The portion sizes are generous. The vegan egg rolls are also fantastic. Everything vegan is clearly la... View all feedback.
What Ezekiel Williams doesn't like about Pho Real Kitchen:
The pho at C Fresh is lacking in portion size. For a more generous serving, try stepping into 515 Pho instead. The portions at C Fresh are half the size, with half the meat, half the noodles, and a small amount of bean sprouts. The taste is average and not worth the price. However, the boba tea is excellent. 10 out of 10 would recommend! My family had chicken pho and jalapeño garlic ragoons. The pho was the best I've had so far in Iowa! The flavoring is on point! My only take back would be that the chicken is a little tougher than I would like. Other than that, I'm excited to know where I need to go when I come visit again! Kid-friendliness: Kid size/price pho available!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options.
Delicious food and nice staff. Had the spicy beef noodles and shared egg rolls. My colleague loved her pork soup too.
I got a taro milk bubble tea and asked for 50% sugar, and it came out way too sweet and impossible to drink. I asked if they could dilute it or adjust it to make it less sweet, and the manager rudely told me that I had to pay Again for another drink. For over $6 a drink, this was a terrible beverage, service, and experience. Come here if you enjoy wasting your money and time. They only care about money and not the customer.
I came here excited for the Vegan Pho Broth and it 100% delivered. It can be hard to find vegan pho at all, let alone a broth that actually compares to the meat option, but this is one of the best I've ever had. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is because the service was so strange. When I walked in I was directed to a counter and handed a menu, so I assumed it was a counter service restaurant. I ordered and sat down, assuming that I would be able to dine in. I was brought my food in a to-go bag, which I found strange because I hadn't asked for it to-go, but I opened it up anyway and began eating. About 5 minutes later, a staff member approached me and told me that I needed to leave because to-go customers weren't allowed to dine-in. I tried to explain that I didn't mean to order my food to go, and she continued to insist that I leave. I'm now eating my pho in my car in front of the restaurant while looking at a ton of empty seats inside. I'm sure this situation was due to a lack of communication when I first walked in, but it's frustrating nonetheless.
When I tell you this Pho was some of the best I have ever had, I am not exaggerating. I was having drinks with my friends and all of a sudden we were hungry for something. In Des Moines our options were endless.. Tacos? No. Pizza? No. The Moscow mules in my stomach led me to the answer... Pho.. not just any Pho.. the best Pho-king Pho I have ever had... I would sell my mamma for this Pho... if this was the last thing I could eat... I would eat two. Great wait staff, great atmosphere and we got to people watch. 10 stars!!!!!!
