We've only tried take-out from this restaurant before, and sat down for dinner just recently. I have to say this is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. If you don't find it bizarre, the deep-fried pig's feet is a must. I'd skip the pot stickers, though, because they appear to be the kind you can buy from the frozen section in any Asian supermarket. What Nivedha venkataramanan doesn't like about Big Wang Cuisine:
Very UNCLEAN. The tables smell, and very very poor service. Waiter did not spend more than 10 seconds, missing everything we said. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Kung Pao Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, Fried Rice View all feedback.
Though the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, surprisingly the food didn't take as long. We were fans of the chicken 口水鸡 ,salt n pepper mushrooms, and the fish.
I get the hot and sour soup no pork. Man is it good and flavorful! This place always has the food ready in about 10 mins. After they redid the inside it is a great relaxing atmosphere inside

The best stir fried lamb spicy cumin $20.95 I've had outside NYC. I got it extra spicy. I got takeout from here, though the inside looked pretty cool with an indoor fountain. Also good was the double cooked pork. $14.95 I also got the following, but they were just okay. -szechuan beef spicy sauce $15.95 -stir-fried boneless chicken it had bone in it.... $15.95 -mapo tofu $13.95 As for mala, there wasn't any numbing in any of my dishes. Its close to 270/370/200, so I'll be back for the lamb at some point in the future.
Overall the restaurant is good. Great service and tasty dishes. Did not like that they used ham in the Yangchow Fried rice instead of Chinese red pork. Mapo was tasty but a bit watery for my taste. Green pepper chili with frog legs was delicious. Not a big fan of bones but I get it. The best part of our meal were the Szechuan green beans. Best I've had in the area and I've eaten it at INSERT NAME OF LOCAL RESTAURANT HERE. I've eaten at almost all of them in Rockville, Derwood, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, and Germantown, among other obvious places like D.C. No I haven't eaten at every carry out. But the point is that the food is authentic Szechuan and the menu is comprehensive and includes American versions. My reason for not giving it 5 stars....they charge $5 for hot tea. I had no idea until I got home. Addendum after second visit: Forgot to mention. Be prepared to eat off of small plates. No idea why. That and the chairs are not comfortable. No padding. It makes dining in unenjoyable compared to the food.
