We both really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and we plan to go a second time for our last meal before we go home. Highly recommended the baby octopus dish and the grilled burger wow !!!

We asked to sit outside but we... read more Having previously seen its stunning location we went to La Vela for an aperativo on a beautifully sunny and mild October evening. We asked to sit outside but were told by the person in charge that this was not possible as the weather does not suit me , although we would have happily carried our own drinks outside. The staff were unfriendly and arrogant and the atmosphere was lacking. The drinks were over priced. We only stayed for a second drink as we were too tired to look for anywhere else. We cannot comment on the food but based on the welcome and the service, we would and could not recommend La Vela.
