Casa Java Cafe - Derry

This cafe has a rewards program, and I appreciated the contactless payment and WiFi options. The seating arrangement includes both indoor and outdoor areas, and the interior is lovely—especially the bathroom! It’s the nicest bathroom I’ve seen in all the businesses I’ve visited in Derry. I wish I could have the person who designed this place redo my own home! The service was very friendly. The young lady who took my order was cheerful and shared a few laughs with me. I won’t mention her name here to spare her from any unwanted social media attention. I tried the Banana Bread latte, which had a hint of brown sugar. The espresso flavor was present, but the other flavors were a bit muted. The chocolate croissant I had was delicious, and my hot decaf coffee was well-made too. I really enjoyed the music playing in the background! My only complaint was that it felt a bit chilly inside, but if there’s a heatwave in the future, this will definitely be my go-to spot. I also enjoyed a chocolate twist pastry paired with dark French roast coffee, which was delightful. I highly recommend paying this cafe a visit!

I enjoyed my meal (the avocado toast), but my friends' breakfast wrap seemed to lack seasoning. Overall, I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This place is very nice and cozy. The Nutella crepe was delicious, and I loved all the fruit that came with it!

I come here at least twice a month with my wife. There is nothing better than starting your day with a hot coffee, or one of their magnificent mamosa's first thing in the morning. But let's not forget their outstanding crepes that take your taste buds for a ride and set your body and mind up to succeed for the day! You will never find a crepe with more love and care put into it, each plate is laid out like a piece of art!

Casa Java is a little corner gem in the heart of Derry. The staff is super nice and the food offered is fresh, very creative and delicious. They have a great variety of lattes, smoothies, crepes (hard to find anywhere) wraps and salads. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
