Subway - Derby

We went in to grab a quick sub for our daughter at 20 minutes before they closed. They told us they already closed and refused service. Service: Take out Meal type: Other

There were two of us. We purchased multiple orders. The gentleman making our sandwiches literally fought with me over my coupon for a free cookie...a frickin cookie! For a sandwich shop located in a run down area where most of the businesses around it are run down, have shut down, or both.. fighting with me over a cookie isn't a good look Subway. Yeah, so when I call there it goes to some kind of spam call. I just want the owners to keep it 100 with me and get a reliable landline.

When I arrived, the employee was incredibly cool, calm, and collected. He promptly prepared a new order for me, even though they were out of turkey. I genuinely hope he gets the appreciation he needs, especially with all the unemployment challenges people are facing right now. I really hope the owner sees this review because that employee deserves a raise. I rarely write reviews, but this guy definitely deserves a pat on the back. God bless him!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The sub I ordered was the worst I've ever had, and it had a strong smell of cleaning supplies, which was also present in the restaurant itself. I wouldn't recommend the garlic steak; it was quite disappointing. To top it off, they even forgot to add cheese to my order. I called to share my concerns, but they were unhelpful and didn't seem interested in making it right. The meat also tasted old. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
