Top fav in derby! Great pizza and great people. Definitely grab something when you get a chance
Cheese pizza was delicious and the service was great. A great surprise.
Clean restaurant with a very friendly staff. Excellent presentation and great tasting broccoli and chicken pizza with the white sauce.
3.5 stars because this place serves a good solid pizza, but therein lies my slight issue. It's just good, not great. Pizza enthusiasts probably wouldn't go out of their way to come here. But if you're in the area and/or in the mood to get pizza, this place serves a solid one. It's like pizza for families, or social gatherings where generally pizza is enjoyed not critiqued. So when I went to pick up my pizza, I was confused. I had ridden by here several times looking into the window at the well-lit counter and always the same guy behind the counter. I walked into a somewhat dimly lit place with the counter now on the left side instead of the right and a woman behind the counter.. Have they even been open long enough to already remodel? Maybe they expanded to include a dining area? Idk? I was confused and had to make sure I was in the right place. I ordered 2 pies. The Derby Special and a bacon. They smelled delicious! First bite of the Derby special was good. The toppings were fresh! The thickness of the crust was a perfect balance for all of the toppings. But on the 2nd pizza, the thick crust wasn't working. It actually overpowered the bacon topping. Idk if it was overcooked or maybe it didn't have enough sauce It, maybe I needed to eat it piping hot, but It was like eating a bacon bread (if there were ever such a thing) Am I driving 20 min again to get Derby pizza, probably not. But will I stop if it's on the way, hmmmmm, I'd definitely think a bout it.
