Yaffle Cafe Bookshop - Derby

This cafe is absolutely charming! It has a relaxed, cozy atmosphere and delicious home-cooked food. I hope it remains open for a long time because it's just what Derby needs.

I love Yaffle and now use it as my go-to despite not being vegan, the atmosphere is really nice and the food and drink selection is always spot on. I tend to have pretty high expectations and yaffle doesn’t disappoint, it’s a little bit of a shame it’s not open on a Sunday but that’s all I can think of!

What a find. Being on holiday I always dread what I am eating at lunch time and evening meal. As most times I end up eating a jacket pot and baked beans!!! For lunch mostly fruit. So it was a delight finding this place. My husband who is a meat eater loved his harvest toastie. I had Cheese and Beans toastie. Both of us had the hot chocolate. Not badly priced neither which makes a change.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre this lovely place serves gorgeous food. The staff are friendly and cater for your every need. I have been twice and will certainly go again. Their sunday lunch and all day breakfast (both vegan of course) amazing. Small, and certainly quirky, it is definitely worth a visit, as is their well stocked shop downstairs.

We have visited Yaffle cafe several times now and have never been disappointed. The team there are lovely and really do look after you. Love their Sunday lunch.
