We found the food very poor quality, especially at the price paid. It is not as good as it used to be when in the premises further up Green Lane and even a year ago at lunch time it was better. We had green curry but not much flavour, just a green sauce with bean shoots. No fresh coriander, aubergine or onion. The rice was very stodgy. Amazing atmosphere, feels incredibly authentic! beautiful personal. the fish cakes are exceptionally beautiful
We went for the taste Thai set menu. every cure was delicious and very favorable. the personal was attentive, but not hastened us. would definitely recommend! (only a picture of the starters)

Randomly chose to eat here when visiting Derby with my son and his girlfriend, having just moved to Ripley from Brighton and I can honestly say it was the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my life! Everything was perfect and could not be faulted in anyway. From the minute we walked in we were so happy we chose to eat lunch here, the decor was amazing and the staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful and the food was just first class. It was top quality and so fresh and tasty. And to top it all it was so reasonably priced with the lunch time offer of two courses for £10. I will definitely be making regular visits to try everything on the menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. You have to eat here if you like Thai food and are in the Derby area. Do not go anywhere else. Thai Boran is simply the best!
