Been here a couple of times since last review and it keeps getting better. The appearance of the restaurant is very improved, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent and very well presented. They have a very good choice of drinks and at the moment...have a good deal on house wine.Still miss the old Sheezan but can't fault the new regime at all, well worth a visit. What Isabel Murray doesn't like about Indian Village:
it was a few times here and always had a good meal, but service was never the best, and never much atmosphere. saturday wasn't taking, but apparently it was her last night. once again, dear meal, but no one seemed interested, this is probably the reason. I'm sorry that the resteraunt has not taken off. that's... now back in the old sheezan. View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed a good meal. However, the service has never been the best and the atmosphere has always been lacking. Saturday was no different, and I found out it was their last night in business. Once again, I had a lovely meal but the staff seemed disinterested, which is probably why the restaurant didn't succeed. I'm sorry to hear that the restaurant didn't take off. It is now reverting back to its old name, Sheezan.
Fantastic value and service, you can tell from just the aromas that these people know how to get the best from the ingredients, from mild to savagely hot you can still taste the individual spices and the chefs will cook to your specific taste,i tried chicken korma made exceedingly hot with fresh chillis first and it was gorgeous.next i tried garlic and chilli lamb and it was again gorgeous, the dips and bhajis are excellent,my partner and i love indian food and will be ordering our food from nowhere else in the future..........
First visit here, as recommended by friends. Menu could use some revision, but service was spot-on (it being a quieter night , and our food was bang-on. Attentive staff who looked after us and saw that we were served what we liked to our specifications (she likes mild, I like fiery! . Very reasonable prices, and the wine offer could not be turned down, although draught Cobra at £3 a pint was attractively priced. Will definitely return for that 'can 't eat any more feeling ' :

On the positive side, the staff were polite and friendly, and the food was good, which is ultimately the most important aspect. It may not be the same Sheezan as before, but times change. We will definitely visit again.
