Venuto's Old World Pizza

They gave our phone order to another customer, then tried to blame us saying that we never placed an order. Owner is very disrespectful. Avoid this place.

Benny’ Pizza Food order was placed on the evening of April 25th. My son and daughter went to pick up order and they told my son he didn’t place an order. My daughter had order on her phone and was told food had been given to someone else. My kids had to wait additional time for their mistake. My daughter asked for a discount due to their error and was ignored and charged full price. I called that evening and was told only owner can make decision on discount. I spoke to owner on 4/26 and he stated over and over that he did not want to give discount because my kids had to wait additional time for food. The issue was not waiting additional time for food but the fact that my son was questioned about order, my daughter had to show proof of order, and the order was given to someone else. To me this is poor customer service as this was their error. I do not recommend this place of business.

Grilled chicken with lettuce,tomatoes onion and bacon sandwich with a side of fries. A very fresh and healthy option.

I just relocated from the south, and Benny's was my first New Jersey pizza experience. We got the Benny's Special and if this wasn't the best pizza I've ever had in my life lol. The crust had such a good flavor and texture. The shredded sausage was fantastic. The large is massive too. Fed two people dinner and I had leftovers for lunch. Really happy I live up the street from yall now!

Thus used to be my favorite place to order from. But the past couple of times it has been disappointing. And tonight’s dinner was terrible. Two Italian platters which according to the menu came with Italian salad and garlic bread. Well the salad was literally just iceberg lettuce and nothing more. The garlic bread was a Kaiser roll cut from top to bottom and brushed with maybe some Italian seasoning. Certainly did not taste any garlic. The garlic bread used to be delicious as was the food. But not any more. I actually called them and asked if they were under new management. Sad to say but I don’t see us ever ordering from them again. Oh and you can no longer just order a sandwich even if it’s one that comes with fries. They don’t think it’s worth delivering just one item. What a way to lose customers.
