I recently had dinner at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The price per person is between $50-$100, but the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying their wood burning pizza, as it was delicious.
One of the major perks of dining here is the ample parking they offer. There are plenty of parking spaces available, including a free parking lot. This definitel... View all feedback.
What Luc Valpo doesn't like about Casa D’pizza:
The pizza at this restaurant is delicious, but when ordering a sub, it's important to double-check your order with the staff. I ordered a ham sub with provolone, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, hot peppers, and requested it to be toasted - but instead received a ham and provolone sub with mayo, only two hot pepper slices, and it was served cold. On another occasion, when I inquired about roast beef subs, I was met... View all feedback.
4/25/2022 update. I called and asked that the pizza is not too well done. I ordered half pfefferoni and it was amazing. pictures. before they have made more burning pizza lately. it seems what the others do. not sure why.
Always enjoy my meal here. We had a variety of appetizers, garlic shrimp, calamari and stuffed mushrooms. All very yummy.I had the grilled chicken with broccoli Rabe. So good. Service is always great as well.
Not sure what was happening on May 6 but it took 2 hours to get a pie. Nothing more. Just one large pie. I was told 1 hour and it took 2. It was very disorganized at 5:30 and about 15 angry people. It’s disappointing because the pizza is usually good and we keep this place in our rotation. Hopefully they get a manager in there soon.
The hunt for thin crust pizza brought me to Denville Casa D Pizza located on East Main Street where C.V.S. is and right next to Caffe Delhi. Rather than ask this group for suggestions, I searched this page and found several restuarants that kept being named as their go to spot in Denville for thin crust pizza. Mind you, there were other places outside of Denville that have been on my radar, but wanted something close to home and was convienent. Casa D Pizza has a wood burning stove and ordered pizza off the Thin Crust Wood Burning Pizza menu. I ordered a cheese pie (ordered the pie with light amount of cheese, so if it seems skimpy, that is exactly how I ordered it) along with a Margherita (Crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, parmigiana reggiano, olive oil fresh basil The pies come in 12 inch, or for $5 more, you can make it a large. For the cheese pie, ordered the large and for Margherita, stuck with the 12. For a Saturday night, the wait time at 600 was only about 30 minutes which was not bad at all.To all those who have raved about the thin crush pizza, Thank You! I'm less than 5 minutes from here and by the time I dove into, the pizza was hot and tasty. No doubt the pizza sitting in the box fresh out of the oven impacts the pie, but it was still good. May very well have to try back here again when thr pies are served fresh out of the oven.My one regret was I failed to scroll down far enough to realize they also have thin crust square pizzas as well. When preparing this review, found the Nona (Mozzarella fresh plum tomatoes sauce) as well as theBrooklyn Style (Fresh mozzarella, plum tomato, garlic, olive oil basil.)Kudos to Casa D Pizza on a job well done. If your looking for a thin crust pizza, check them out and support one of the many local Denville business owners..As a disclaimer, finally got around to posting this late on a Sunday evening so if have you craving thin crust pizza when they may be closed, I appologize but assure you that you'll be happy when you go...
Make sure to order the Chicken Franchese as well as the Penne if you drop by. Out of this world! ?
