While some have reported negative experiences with unattended dogs and aggressive incidents, the majority enjoy the dog park area and fast service. The food quality is varied, with some dishes being disappointing while others are delicious. The staff is friendly, but service may be sporadic at times. Overall, The Watering Bowl offers a fun and dog-friendly environment for those looking to socialize with their furry friends over drinks and food. It's a popular spot for dog lovers and a unique experience unlike other dog-friendly restaurants.
If you love your dog, or just dogs in general, this is a great place to kick back and enjoy an adult beverage. Staff was very welcoming. Didn't have to wait between drinks and the company was enjoyable. I will most definitely be a frequent flier here. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
The guacamole was very disappointing. For being $14, I expected better. Way too much pepper and didn't taste fresh at all. I'm big on finishing my food but I just couldn't do it. We ordered a margarita pizza on cauliflower crust. It was pretty good. Definitely made up for the guac. I'm a little annoyed we were charged a processing fee without being told about it. I've never seen this before, and I just hate being snuck charges like this (no matter how small).
Fun, but ran down. The good. Decently sized. Pools for the pups. Lots of fun pups and people! The food (to my surprise) was decent!! Beer was cold! Service was good!Areas of improvement... It's hard to find as the sign is sun faded/gone. We tried 3 tables they were all very wobbly. And there was p by two of them with no baggies in sight. Luckily another owner has some (we forgot ours) so we picked up the p we found. Our napkin holder clearly just sits outside 24/7 as it was full of water from rain and sticks. Just over all felt a bit dirty/ran down.We might be back.
Horrible experience and disrespectful server. My dog was attacked here today. The server was incredibly un-professional. She stated: This is what you get I only wish I had thought to take a video to publish, I was just in shock about the aggressive dog and the servers lack of professionalism and safety. If you are worried about a possible aggressive situation I would recommend going to another establishment where they will not exacerbate and tolerate aggressive dogs and staff. Protect your pet and don 't go here. Not worth the risk with so many other amazing CO off lease dog parks and dog friendly restaurants with great service. Here is a list of dog friendly restaurants:
Overall, this restaurant had many positive aspects. The dog park area was enjoyable, the food was of decent quality and was served quickly. The initial service we received was good, as our server was friendly and helpful. However, she unexpectedly disappeared during our meal and we were left unattended. Despite seeing another server attending to nearby tables, none of them came to assist us. In the end, we had to search for our server in order to pay our bill, only to be told that she had left an hour ago. We were essentially ghosted by our server, which thankfully spared us from leaving a tip! ?
