Urban Sombrero - Denver

This food was absolutely amazing!! My wife and I are here in Denver, who visit the week and decided to order at our hotel. We are currently living in Texas and often travel, so we know high-quality Mexican food. We've ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. The order arrived fresh and hot in 20 minutes. Steak, vegetables and chicken were seasoned to perfection and moist. If you are in the area of Denver, I recommend Urban Sombrero, you will not be disappointed!!

This a cute place. Lots of random things to look at while sitting there. My long Island was good. Had the cheese burger was pretty good. Huge! Close to a lot of things down town. Bathrooms were clean.

Mediocre food at best, but they are the only place open late by the Denver airport. We had the wings, they were decent. The salsa was actually good. Everything else was so so. There was a pile of food on the floor by our table when we sat down. The waitress noticed it, but never cleaned it up.

Appearances can be misleading. This was probably the most flavorless Mexican restaurant I've ever visited—I've had better taste at Taco Bell. I started with the queso, which resembled melted Velveeta cheese. My beer was flat as well. For my main course, I ordered the fajitas and was let down by the lack of flavor; the peppers and onions were undercooked and crunchy. I waited about 15 minutes for the waitress to check on me so I could mention the undercooked food. She seemed visibly frustrated at the prospect of having to remake the dish, which led me to decide to leave and head to Outback instead. I informed the manager that I only wanted to pay for the appetizer and drinks, but he rolled his eyes and brushed me off with a dismissive “okay dude” before walking away. What kind of grown man rolls his eyes at a paying customer?

I enjoyed a lovely late meal here after flight delays made me stay an extra night in Denver. The restaurant was just a 5-minute walk from my hotel. My server was really friendly, and I appreciated the atmosphere.
