Great food specials on happy hour. And ribs are affordable on regular menu too. Tasted great, served hot! Service was very friendly but a bit slow. I will visit again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tony Roma's Northglenn At Delta:
I have eaten many meals in my life but this has to be the worst meal I have ever had! The bbq St. Louis ribs were 80% fat and undercooked. The meat was tough and almost rare. The green beans were overcooked and also tough and dry. The coleslaw was the only redeeming food that was served. This is a Tony Roma's in name only, the food once served is nowhere to be found here! Good service the hood was hood and had an enjoyable dinner.
When I was growing up our family moved from Colorado to Ohio for 18 months and that is when I first had Tony Romas onion loaf and famous baby back ribs. Two years ago for my sons 14th birthday we booked a hotel and when we arrived they had overbooked their rooms so they transferred us to Delta Hotel. When we pulled up I saw Tony Roma’s and I was ecstatic. What was at first a disappointment as our plans were altered ended up being the best thing ever! I explained to my then 14 16 year olds sons and 11 year old daughter that we had to eat there as they have the best onion loaf and baby back ribs anywhere and I couldn’t wait for them to try it. Sadly, they didn’t have the onion loaf available because of pans they needed to cook them so we just had the ribs. Everyone loved them so much we all ate our entire rack of ribs and fries and coleslaw which says a lot because none of us ever eat that much. Fast forward two years later for my sons 16th birthday he said he wished we could recreate his 14th birthday at Delta Hotel and Tony Romas as a family (my oldest son now 18 and my daughter 13) and that is just what we did! He was ecstatic when we pulled in and saw what we were doing. I had made reservations and this time they had the onion loaf so we ordered that and we all had the full rack of baby back ribs again. From the time we arrived they promptly seated us and the hostess was very kind. Our waitress was exceptional. She promptly took our full order with drinks and an onion loaf and 4 orders of a full rack of the famous baby back ribs with fries and coleslaw. She was attentive and kind and also offered my son dessert for free for his birthday which he chose the brownies either ice cream and caramel sauce. It all was amazing from the service to the food! This restaurant has held a special place in my heart for 35 years and now it it is even more special as I get to share it with my kids! Absolutely love this place!!
Near Empty but doesn't even open on time,, Service a bit slow Food is Good Tho They REFUSE to Honor Tony Romas BRANDED Gift cards!!! Will NOT return!!!!!
This Tony Roma’s is a few tables and a patio tucked into the lobby of the Delta hotel. In terms of ambiance, it has very little but it was clean, well kept and comfortable. The ribs were just like I remembers them especially the baby back ribs, with the meat just falling off the bone and the sweet sauce has a little kick at the end. The rib plate came with fries that were very hot and crispy and some coleslaw that was not particularly special. Hubs had the massive beef ribs (definitely order four unless you are a starving teen! . His came with the same sides. We had a $2 happy hour appetizer of potato skins that was four slices covered in cheese and the most delicious bacon bits. It was the right size bite to start the meal and came out fast. I would say the service was a little slower than I expected on a not very busy night with the issue being the speed of the kitchen and not the wait staff. The staff was attentive and we were seated right away but used dishes were not cleared promptly and that is a pet peeve of mine. The price was very good, a bit over $40 plus tip and tax for two good size entrees and the appetizer. I’d definitely eat there again. We saw several steaks being served to other diners and the plates looked yummy. This is not elegant or fancy but straight ahead good food at a decent price.
Disappointed we ordered exactly how we wanted but came out wrong. Waiter said he wrote it exactly but the onions were cold. We ordered well done. They weren’t. My ribs would have been good if they were hot. Baked potato was cold enough the butter would not melt. Soup was barely warm and tasted like they came out of the freezer. Ask waiter to put my food in microwave before he brought it out to make sure it was hot. He didn’t. Been eating Tony Romas since forever. Will not be back to that store.
