Tony Roma Denver

Good food, but felt like a stepchild for the evening.

We were looking forward to delicious ribs but were left severely disappointed after visiting the new Tony Roma's location in downtown Denver. I highly advise against going here. The restaurant does not embody the look, feel, or taste of a typical Tony Roma's. The service was incredibly poor and slow. I truly hope that this location shuts down for Tony's sake, as it tarnishes the reputation of the brand. Our silverware and napkins were dirty, it took ages to place an order and receive our food, and we waited 25 minutes for dessert. Our soup and salad dishes were left uncleared, leaving a dirty table throughout our meal. The food itself was lackluster, but perhaps that was due to the overall terrible experience.

The worst service. had to ask for refills on beverages more than once, had to wait to pay. Tried to seat us by the bathroom when there were only a couple of people at the bar area. Finally went to host stand to get charge for meal processed, and was told no one could run my card. Had to wait for waiter assigned to our table, and he had his hands full with food.

I had a great meal tonight server was very nice and attentive. I take a lot of trips to the theatre and I can see myself before or after a show for a glass of wine and a few good food.
